Privacy

How EEF handles your information.

This site has no accounts and sets no cookies of its own. Its outside services are the Givebutter giving form and a cookie-free visit counter from Cloudflare, and EEF never sells or shares what donors give it.

01

Giving online

Online gifts are made through a form provided by Givebutter, a fundraising platform. The form loads from Givebutter, and Givebutter and its payment processor handle your card or bank details. EEF never sees them. Givebutter may set its own cookies, and Givebutter’s privacy policy governs what it collects.

Givebutter passes EEF your name, email, mailing address, and the amount and date of your gift, so the Foundation can receipt and thank you.

02

The giving consultation form

The giving page also carries the giving consultation request. It runs entirely in your browser. When you submit it, the page checks the fields, assembles the text of an email, and produces a mailto: link addressed to the Foundation.

Opening that link hands the drafted message to your own mail application. Nothing is transmitted when you press the button, no server receives the form, and this site keeps no copy. If you never send the draft, EEF never sees a word of it. The form asks you not to include account numbers, tax identifiers, or other sensitive financial details; those belong in a conversation.

03

Donor records

Inside the Foundation, donor records are seen by the Treasurer and the board members who write thank-you notes. EEF never sells, rents, trades, or shares donor information, except where the law requires it.

EEF does not send newsletters or fundraising appeals. You hear from the Foundation about your gift.

04

The recipient archive

The Foundation publishes the scholarships it has awarded. Each entry names the award year, the scholarship, and the recipient, and nothing else: no addresses, no contact details, no schools attended after graduation, and no application materials. Naming who the community chose to support is how the Foundation stays accountable for the money it raises.

If an entry is wrong, or you are a recipient who would rather not be listed, write to eskoeducationfoundation@gmail.com and say which entry you mean. A board member replies within 14 days, and the site is updated within 30 days.

This website

Every page here is a static file, built ahead of time and served as it is. There are no accounts and no logins. The site itself sets no cookies and loads no trackers. Even the typefaces are served from this site rather than fetched from a font host. The only outside code is the Givebutter form on the giving page and the Cloudflare visit counter described below.

To learn which pages people use, the site counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and does not follow you to other sites. It records the page you opened, the site that linked you here, your browser and device type, your country, and how quickly the page loaded. EEF sees only totals, never a record of any one visitor. Cloudflare’s privacy policy governs that service.

Links that leave the site, to Esko Public Schools or to IRS guidance on the giving page, are ordinary links, and those sites have their own privacy practices.
